Meet the IEA Naperville Team
Bonnie has been a UniServ Director since 2009. She began her employment with the IEA in 2008 as a Law Clerk and was interim Media Relations Director for one year. Prior to coming to the IEA, she earned a JD at Chicago Kent College of Law and was employed as a journalist and adjunct faculty member at Columbia College Chicago.
Ambor joined IEA in October of 2015 after 9 years of working in various fields of the entertainment industry in Los Angeles, CA. As Associate Staff in the Naperville office, her specific regions are 32 and 50. In her free time, she enjoys writing, movies and spending time with family and friends.
Raphael has been a UniServ Director in the Naperville office since 2007. He represents ESPs and K-12 teachers alike from the Kendall County Sp. Ed. Cooperative, Plano, Yorkville, and Oswego school districts. He has provided services for Region 65 through negotiations, organizing, alternative dispute resolutions, and organization development. Prior to IEA, Raphael taught as a Sp. Ed. teacher in Atlanta Georgia for 11 years.
Linda began her career with IEA in September 2000 after 28 years in Federal Service in the areas of Finance, Human Resources and Region Analyst for FMLA, OWCP, FLSA and Leave Share. As Associate Staff in the Naperville office, her specific regions are 40 and 65 and she also supports the WSO Retired Chapter. She is a native of Chicago and resides in Broadview. She has two adult children and three grandchildren.
Julie has been a UniServ Director in IEA since 2006. Prior to working in Naperville, she was the UniServ Director for Region 63 in Bloomington, IL, and was the Northwest Region UniServ Director in Bismarck, ND. In Naperville, Julie represents over 2,000 education employees in the Naperville 203 School District. She was a middle school band director in Indiana and Illinois for 9 years prior to moving into union staff work.
Linda grew up in northern Indiana, and has lived in Illinois for nearly 30 years. Before joining IEA in 2007 she was the Network Manager for a large school district. Linda was the organizing president for the district’s ESP local, which she counts as one of the most demanding, yet gratifying jobs she’s ever undertaken.
UniServ Director at IEA Naperville since 2001. Mark represents over 3,000 education employees of the Indian Prairie Community District 204 in Naperville, Aurora and Bolingbrook. He has organized, represented and bargained contracts for pre-K-12 teachers, education support professionals, full-time and adjunct college faculty members.
Tom has performed union staff work since 1996, working for two locals of the SEIU, as well as both the California and Illinois Nurses Associations before coming to the IEA in 2006. As the UniServ Director for Region 50, he has organized, represented and negotiated on behalf of five K-12 Certified local associations and four ESP local associations.
Susan joined IEA in June of 2012. Her career experience includes 14 years of insurance management, brokering & arbitration, and graphic/web design. In 2016, she was thrilled to complete her Bachelors in Business Management at Benedictine University with honors. In her free time she enjoys paper crafting, eCommerce and playing piano.
